BMW’s stylish 4 Series Convertible is currently arriving in Australian dealerships, priced from $88,800.

Ridiculously stylish in the looks department, the latest BMW hard-top operates in just 20 seconds and features an easy-loading function for access to the boot when the roof is open. BMW has also paid attention to refinement with extra sound-proofing ensuring the all-new 4 Series Convertible is significantly more quiet that the outgoing 3 Series version.

It’s also slightly larger than the previous 3 Series Convertible – 26mm longer and 43mm wider and the front track is 45mm wider while the rear is 81mm wider.
 
Under the bonnet the choice is 135kW/380Nm for the 420d turbo-diesel, 180kW/350Nm for the four-cylinder 428i or 225kW/400Nm for the six-cylinder 435i. Drive is via BMW’s new eight-speed automatic transmission.
 
As usual, BMW Australia is offering the 4 Series Convertible with ‘Sport Line’, ‘Luxury Line’ and ‘Modern Line’ packages

The 435i adds extras such as the M Sport package (optional on 420d and 428i), adaptive M suspension, variable sport steering , ‘Air Collar’ system and 12-speaker 500W Harman/Kardon audio.
