Just days after Holden announced the freshened 2015 MY Commodore lineup, performance off-shoot HSV has done the same.
Naturally – as per the regular SS V Redline Commodore – the 2015 HSV models with six-speed automatic transmissions pick-up the steering wheel paddle shifters for rapid sequential gear changes...a real boon for HSV models when pedaling hard we’d reckon.
And there are two new paint colours also introduced with the regular Commodore range – ‘Some Like It Hot Red’ and ‘Jungle Green’.
But HSV being HSV, the biggest news for the 2015 models is of course more power with the R8 models up to 340kW/570Nm (the previously optional ‘SV Enhanced’ package is now standard) and Maloo ute and non-R8 ClubSport models now up to 325kW/500Nm (the previous generation R8 engine).
On the styling front look for a massive new ‘Hyperflow’ rear spoiler or a more subtle ‘Pitch Black’ pack.
There’s also two new designs of 20-inch alloy wheels and new exhaust tailpipes.
