Lexus chose the Guangzhou Motor Show in China to debut an extra variant for the all-new GS model – the GS250.
Unlike the 183kW, 3.5-litre V6 in the Lexus GS 350 just launched locally, the Lexus GS 250 employs a 154kW 2.5-litre V6 engine, driving through Lexus’ close-ratio six-speed automatic transmission with sequential manual mode.
Apart from the drivetrain, the Lexus GS 250 virtually mirrors the GS 350.
Lexus says the newcomer will be launched in Europe in June however no local plans have been announced.
