Renault headlines ‘glamour’ and ‘excitement’ with its just-launched ‘Monaco Grand Prix’ limited edition version of the potent Megane RS250.
Only 250 individually numbered examples are being produced for 12 global markets and Renault Australia has secured 50 for local hot hatch fans.
Priced at $48,990 the Renault Megane RS250 Monaco GP is painted in pearlescent white with piano black contrasting highlights for the side mirrors, rear diffuser and fog light surrounds. Racy 19-inch alloy wheels add to the tantalizing look.
Inside – capturing the glamour and luxury which accompany the world’s most famous F1 race – the limited edition Renault Megane runs satellite navigation, leather-trimmed and heated sports seats and matching white trim features.
A fixed glass roof lets the sunshine in or there’s a sliding cover for hot days.
No changes under the bonnet with power coming from Renault’s lively 184kW/340Nm 2.0-litre.
Stopping is accommodated by four-pot Brembo brakes with bright red calipers.
“The award-winning Megane RS250 has already become an instant classic in Australia and I’m sure this exclusive limited edition will follow suit,” explained Renault Australia chief Justin Hocevar. “I urge customers to hurry into their Renault dealership quickly as these exclusive cars are sure to become collector’s items and won’t be around for long.”
