We know Toyota rally ace Rick Bates is driving the specifications of the Toyota 86 vehicles to be used in next year’s one-make race series but maybe Rick should have made the trip to Bangkok to check-out this gem.
The Toyota 86 racer for the South-East Asian GT series looks terrific and, if you can squint behind the regulation model in tight gear and high heels you’ll notice a massive rear wing.
In fact this wing is a an F1-style work of art with multiple adjusting planes and all beautifully crafted in lightweight carbon-fibre.
And we really like the ‘take-no-prisoners’ front splitter.
Talk about ‘butching-up’ the 86!
Now we know this isn’t the real intent of Toyota Australia’s upcoming one-make series and a neighbor in fact has a tricked-up 86 road car which looks great, but we’re just sayin’…
