Fantastic drive once performance tires (suggest Dunlop Maxx Sport Rts) replace the awful stock tire. Responsive in manual mode, yet very fuel efficient in automatic. There have been a few warranty issues - stereo face plate failed, right headlight got water inside and fried the xenon control unit. However, the dealer fixed these issues under warranty, and also tweaked some codes to get the electronics to work the way I wanted. Tons of accessories available if you want them (at a price). The luxury model is well worth it - the Bose system sounds amazing.

Not a bad car but 190 kw to the front wheels???????? Handleing would be a nightmare especially without a front differential lock (like a Golf GTi) The Golf R is unfortunately a much better option, more grunt, better quality, better handler = better car!!!!

I've owned the 2011 Mazda3 Maxx Sport for 6 months now and the car is great. Being 2 adults and 1 child the car suits our lifestyle 95% of the time. The only time that the boot is an issue is when we go away and the pram needs to be packed along with the suitcases. For anyone that is looking for a small car that can be used around the city or on weekends away i would highly recommend the Mazda3 Maxx Sport. it has been the perfect new car
