Trading Post today revved up its V8 Supercars commitment for 2011 by signing up with Ford Performance Racing (FPR) from 1 January, with the FPR #6 car flying the Trading Post orange livery for the next two years.
Trading Post takes poll position as platinum sponsor of the Melbourne-based V8 Supercars team, taking on naming rights of the #6 Falcon, to be branded the 'Trading Post FPR Falcon'.
Head of Telstra Classifieds, Michael Padden said the arrangement puts Trading Post’s ongoing commitment to support of the sport into overdrive.
"Trading Post is one of Australia's favourite places to buy and sell cars and almost anything else.
“Our association with FPR and the V8 series is a great fit with our customer base and Trading Post customers can look forward seeing their car burn up the track with FPR next year," said Mr Padden.
FPR's Director of Business Operations, Mark Roworth said: "This partnership will allow us to reach a new legion of fans in Trading Post users.”
“In turn, we aim to further the public’s awareness and knowledge of the Trading Post product and brand and strongly believe that our new relationship will help drive business growth across the Trading Post business," he added.
The #6 ‘Trading Post FPR Falcon’ will first hit the track on 28 January, 2011 at Eastern Creek Raceway in NSW, when teams hold their first public test session.
