Buoyed by the overwhelming customer support for the concept model displayed at the Australian International Motor Show, FPV has launched its GT Black.
Sticker price is $74,290 and FPV says production for the GT Black limited edition series is capped at 125 units and some were sold prior to launch – so move fast to snare one of these great-looking all-black Fords.
FPV GT Black is based on the Boss 335 GT with its 335kW/570Nm, supercharged, 5.0-litre V8 engine.
Of course the major changes are the black-on-black looks – ‘Silhouette’ black paintwork, matt-black striping/decals, , gloss back GT premium 19-inch alloy wheels, black fog light bezels and black interior trim treatment.
In addition, FOV Black scores a reversing camera and leather seats.
“We knew we had a winner with the black paintwork and we wanted to action something immediately,” FPV boss Rod Barrett revealed about the GT Black’s motor show success. “The public spoke and we listened and I am just thrilled we have been able to put the GT Black into production so quickly.”
