Bentley will unveil its second generation GTC convertible at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
The four-seat super-luxury convertible delivers a more sporty/purposeful look than its more understated predecessor (standard wheels are 20-inch and 21s are optional!) and is powered by an updated 6.0-litre W12 engine (now 423kW/700Nm) with FlexFuel capability, driving all four wheels via a new QuickShift automatic transmission.
Inside, the cabin is more spacious (extra rear leg-room) and even more luxurious with a choice of 17 soft-touch leather hides from which to choose, a further six split colour combinations and no less than seven timber veneers. New additions include a touch-screen infotainment system, automatic seat belt presenters and a Bentley designed neck warming system.
Bentley Continental GTC runs a tailored multi-layered fabric hood with under-body panels for the sort of noise isolation expected by Bentley owners.
Chassis updates include a new default setting for the all-wheel-drive system (now 40:60 front:rear), wider front and rear tracks, and a re-tune for dampers and steering.
