Mitsubishi UK has spiced-up the ASX compact SUV with the launch of the special edition ‘ASX Black’.
We’ve always liked the looks of the Mitsubishi ASX and the additions included in the British ASX Black model certainly build on that slick styling job.
The black satin coloured extras include 17-inch alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, front grille, fog-light bezels and exterior mirrors while inside is black leather trim and inserts in carbon fibre.
While Australian specification Mitsubishi ASX models employ a 110kW/197Nm, 2.0-litre petrol engine, British versions use a 85kW/155Nm 1.6-litre. Diesel power for both markets comes from Mitsubishi’s 1.8-litre DiD turbo-diesel with 110kW/300Nm.
However there’s no doubt the Mitsubishi ASX Black delivers a sporty edge the ASX has always deserved – over to you, Mitsubishi Australia.
