$26,990 Starting Price For All-New Four-Model Ahead of its launch later this year, Holden has announced preliminary details of its all-new Colorado ute lineup – kicking-off from a very sharp $26,990.
Holden Colorado will be available in three body styles – ‘Single Cab’, ‘Space Cab’ and ‘Crew Cab’. The model lineup comprises DX, LX, LT and range-topping LTZ.
Entry-level 4x2 DX Single Cab ($26,990) (five-speed manual transmission only) will be powered by Holden’s 110kW 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine while all the rest will employ the 132kW 2.8-litre turbo-diesel driving through either a five-speed manual or optional ($2,000) sic-speed automatic. That entry-level Holden Colorado 4x2 Single Cab will have a towing capacity of 3.0-tonnes while all 2.8-litre-powered models will be rated with a handy towing capacity of 3.5-tonnes.
Payload is scored at one-tonne and Holden Colorado will be offered ina range of seven paint colours.
Holden Colorado’s hero model will be the 2.8-litre diesel LTZ 4x4 Crew Cab (automatic) stickered at $51,990.
Safety features include standard driver and passenger front airbags and side curtain airbags plus electronic stability control and ABS anti-lock brakes.
Holden will announce the full details closer to launch, but with business users being nagged by their accountants, orders can be placed now with Holden dealers across the country.
“With this announcement, customers can now pre-order a Colorado at their Holden dealer before the end of the financial year and secure first delivers,” explained Holden marketing chief John Elsworth.
