There is a possible compact SUV in Holden’s future with confirmation Chevrolet will debut its all-new Trax at the Paris Motor Show in September.
GM says the Trax will be sold in over 140 global markets and will be launched in Europe straight after the Paris show.
In fact Chevrolet will launch the Trax following the introduction of two other new models with significant interest for Holden – the all-new Malibu mid-size sedan and Cruze wagon.
Chevrolet Trax’ design shows clear lineage to the all-new Colorado ute however at this stage no driveline details for the five-seat SUV have been revealed.
“Trax provides Chevrolet an entry into a growing small SUV segment and delivers the flexibility, great fuel-economy and car-like handling that urban explorers require,” explained Chevrolet Europe chief Susan Docherty.
