Australians are discovering the appeal of compact wagons and this is reflected in growing choices. At the Paris Motor Show just a few weeks back, Renault announced the Clio wagon was heading downunder and here at the Australian International Motor Show (Sydney) Holden at last revealed the Cruze Sportwagon.
And on first impressions, the Holden Cruze Sportwagon has been worth the wait. Very nicely styled inside and out, the newcomer will arrive in Holden showrooms early next year.
Holden will launch the Cruze Sportwagon in CD model grade (1.8-litre petrol or 2.0-litre turbo-diesel) and range-topping CDX (1.8-litre petrol only). Over the CD version, Holden Cruze Sportwagon CDX gains items like leather seats (heated fronts), 17-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and some extra chrome.
Holden says we should expect comprehensive equipment levels across the Cruse Sportwagon range including Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, cruise control and iPod integration with steering wheel controls.
Holden will reveal the full Cruze Sportwagon details closer to launch.
