Holden is at the forefront of electric vehicle sales in Australia with the good looking range-extender Volt and now comes news of an electric Barina Spark– the company’s compact car star.
Chevrolet will display a production version of the Spark (Barina Spark in Australia) at the Los Angeles Auto show in a couple of weeks.
North American reports suggest the electric Spark will provide 84kW of power – eclipsing the 1.2-litre petrol engine as fitted to the current Barina Spark.
No word yet on possible right-hand drive production.
