Holden has announced prices for the new range-topping CDX Barina hatchback and sedans which appeared at last Month’s Australian International Motor Show.
Adding the new model to range sees Holden Barina follow the lead of the larger Cruze with the entry-model now tagged ‘CD’ and the upscale variant badged ‘CDX’.
Barina’s range-topper is only sold with the six-speed automatic transmission - the hatchback is priced at $20,490 and the sedan at $20,990.
That’s just $2,500 more than equivalent Barina CD models which is impressive given the CDX additions include 17-inch alloy wheels, Sportec seat trim (fronts heated), leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, reverse parking sensors, front fog-lights and some extra exterior chrome.
Also included is Holden’s MyLink infotainment system which includes Stitcher Smart Radio, phone contacts, photos, videos and music all displayed on a seven-inch colour touch screen. In the future, Holden will add other apps including BringGo Navigation, TuneIn Radio and Pandora Internet Radio.
So the 2013 Holden Barina lineup looks like this:
CD Hatchback (Manual) $15,990
CD Hatchback (Automatic) $17,990
CD Sedan (Manual) $16,490
CD Sedan (Automatic) $18,490
CDX Hatchback (Automatic) $20,490
CDX Sedan (Automatic) $20,990
