Renault revealed its all-new Captur compact SUV in Geneva with news the good-looking newcomer will be on-sale locally next year.
Renault being Renault, the Captur arrives with interesting innovations such as a cargo area floor with multiple height setting for varying loads and a back seat which slides 160mm fore-aft – for cargo versatility and optimal seating comfort. Depending on the configuration, the Renault Captur provides luggage space in the range of 377-litres to 455-litres.
Sharing the same platform as the Renault Clio, the compact Captur provides 200mm of ground clearance for some off-road capability. Styling is modern and European customers can colour-match their wheels to align with or differentiate from the two-tone bodywork.
Inside is a bright, airy modern look – again with multiple colour combinations available.
European customers get the choice of two petrol and two diesel engines but at this stage Australian specifications have not been finalized.
