Proton Cars Australia has launched the all-new Preve – the first Proton vehicles to score the maximum five-star safety rating in ANCAP’s one-off barrier test – with prices starting at $18,990 ‘Driveaway’.
That price is for the GX model with a five-speed manual transmission. For the six-speed automatic, add $2,000 and for metallic paint add $490.
Ramping-up the value equation, Proton has launched its ‘5 Star Service Program’ with five years free servicing and a five-year warranty with roadside assistance.
Later this year the Proton Preve lineup will be boosted by a sporty GXR variant with a turbo-charged 1.6-litre engine driving through a seven-speed CVT transmission with steering wheel paddle-shifters, leather interior and touch-screen satellite navigation.
