And for less than $30k drive-away, at that.

2018 Suzuki Swift Sport – Red Devil Limited Edition

Japanese carmaker Suzuki has unveiled a special edition of its fun hot hatch, dubbed the Swift Sport Red Devil. Despite what its name suggests, it has nothing to do with that football team from Manchester, though it is red and a devil to drive.

We like the Swift Sport quite a bit. With its turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol mill, snickety manual transmission, cheeky looks and impressive value, it’s a hot hatch that endeared itself to the CarShowroom team quite immensely. For the Red Devil, the Swift Sport has been given a rather pretty ‘Burning Red’ hue, interspersed with carbon fibre decals around the place like the bonnet, doors, quarter panels, and rear pillars.

Just 100 of these cars will be offered for our market, with drive-away pricing of $27,990 for the manual and $29,990 for the automatic. No mechanical changes to report, so the Swift Sport Red Devil will soldier on with 103kW and 230Nm. No revisions to the kit list either, so you’ll get a unique instrument cluster with supervision display, LED headlights, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, and full keyless entry and go.
