Aston Martin has launched an updated Vantage range which incorporates lots of features from the high-performance Vantage S. Aston Martin says its ‘entry-level ‘s ports car is now more dynamic and even better value.
On the outside, styling changes come from the Vantage S and limited edition N400. At the front, a lower bumper and splitter feature larger cool air intakes for the engine and brakes, there are muscly motorsport-developed side skirts and the rear gains a large diffuser.
‘S’ model Aston Martin Vantage goes further with a more comprehensive aero package, carbon fibre detailing and hand-stitched leather upholstery.
Underneath, the updated Vantage scores a quicker 15:1 ratio for the steering, 10mm wider tyres and larger brakes (380mm fronts).
No changes under the bonnet however…hard to improve the 313kW/490Nm, 4.7-litre V8 really.
And the six-speed manual transmission remains, but now automatic versions score the new Aston Martin-specific seven-speed Sportshift II.
No word yet about Australian plans and timing.
