Audi has launched the latest range of Audi A5 and Audi S5 models in Australia with prices cut to start from $66,990.
Part of that price reduction can be attributed to improved fuel consumption with 13 variants now delivering fuel consumption better than 7.0l/100kms which qualifies for Luxury Car Tax concessions.
Two new four-cylinder engines have been added – the 125kW 1.8TFSI and in the diesel lineup a 130kW 2.0TDI.
Substantial technical improvements, including the new electromechanical power steering system give the new range fuel consumption improvements up to 18 per cent.
Styling changes include a new grille and headlights, while inside there is a new instrument cluster, centre console, steering wheel and improved switchgear.
The Audi S5 Coupe scores the 245kW/440Nm 3.0TFSI engine to bring it into line with S5 Sportback and Cabriolet.
