2012 Hyundai Accent CRDi Launched

Hyundai has boosted its Accent small car lineup with the addition of two turbo-diesel models.

In fact Hyundai has made the bold claim that its entry-level Accent diesel (Active model grade, six-speed manual) at $19,490 is Australia’s most affordable diesel passenger car. 

2012 HYUNDAI ACCENT


Hyundai’s 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel uses common rail direct injection and an intercooled, variable geometry turbocharger. Maximum power is 94kW at 4000rpm and peak torque of 260Nm is available between 1900 and 2750rpm.

Combined cycle fuel consumption is as low as 4.4l/100kms and exhaust C02 emissions are rated as low as 119g/km.
