2013 Holden Captiva Updated WIth New LTZ

Holden’s Captiva SUV range gets a new top-spec Captiva 5 LTZ and a new generation sex-speed automatic in 2013 model year upgrades announced today.

With five-seat models starting at $27,990 and seven-seaters from $32,490, the nicely-styled Captiva represents great buying for those shopping mid-size SUVs.

No changes under the bonnet with Holden Captiva powered by two four-cylinder engines (2.4-litre petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and the 3.0-litre V6 petrol which is exclusive to the seven-seat Captiva 7.

The new Captiva 5 range-topping LTZ model is available in both 2WD and AWD with prices starting at $32,990. Included in the standard LTZ specifications are leather seats (fronts heated and electric adjustment for the driver), 19-inch alloy wheels and automatic rain-sensing windscreen wipers.

All automatic Captivas step-up to the Gen II six-speed transmission while diesel versions score a new final drive ratio for improved driveability.

And there are two new paint colours – ‘Snowflake Pearl’ and ‘Sandy Beach’.
