The Honda Odyssey is scheduled to arrive in Australia from February 2014, it will be available as either a seven or eight seater.
“We are really excited to launch the all-new Odyssey next year,” Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins said. “Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this new model is not just an evolution: it’s a revolution in design, features, safety technology and functionality.
“The Odyssey is one of Honda Australia’s most awarded models. We are confident of continued success with this new model and are looking forward to launching this car to the Australian market,” Mr. Collins said.
The all-new Odyssey will be powered by 2.4 litre engine and matched to a CVT from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. Fuel economy has been improved, the new model will use only 7.6 litres per 100 kilometres, a reduction of over 14 percent on the out going model.
The new larger Honda Odyssey will feature daytime running lights, wide-angle reversing camera and high spec models will be fitted with power sliding doors.
Pricing and further specifications will be released closer to the launch date.
