Holden’s updated VFII Commodore ute range kicks-off at $33,490 but at last weekend’s Deniliquin Ute Muster it was the 304kW/570Nm 6.2-litre V8-powered range-topper which had fans delirious.
Like the updated Commodore sedan and wagon models, the VFII ute picks-up the ripper LS3 V8 to score the tag of the most powerful V8 ute ever from Holden.
The track-focused SSV Redline model is powered by the 6.2-litre V8 and covers zero to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
It also picks-up Brembo brakes and optional 20-inch alloy wheels.
Across the range Holden’s updated VFII Commodore ute scores extra kit including a new front fascia and keyless entry/push-button start.
SS models add the V8 with a bi-modal exhaust and mechanical sound enhancer, bonnet vents, 18-inch alloy wheels and a performance brake option.
On top of that the SSV gains a colour head-up display and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The lineup looks like this:
