Now Isuzu has ramped things up again with the limited edition X-RUNNER D-MAX priced at $51,990 ‘driveaway’.
Only 360 examples are heading this way from Isuzu’s state-of-the-art plant just outside Bangkok, Thailand.
Based on the already well-equipped Isuzu D-MAX 4x4 LS-Terrain, the X-RUNNER limited edition adds satellite navigation, reversing camera, rear park assist, automatic climate-control air-conditioning, exclusive dark grey interior trim and Isuzu’s PESS (Passive Entry & Start System – it enables you to enter and start your car when carrying armfuls of stuff).
The Isuzu X-RUNNER D-MAX is exclusively available in two head-turning metallic paint colours – ‘Pearlescent White’ and ‘Lapis Blue’ – and also adds an aggressive body kit front and rear, alloy sports bar, tub liner and sporty stripes and decals.
And if all of that doesn’t raise the heat rates of ute buyers, Isuzu has also just launched capped price servicing to accompany its five year factory warranty with roadside assistance.
