www.carshowroom.com.au noticed the Mazda2 sedan at last month’s Bangkok Motor Show – it looked good – and today comes news the sedan version of the top-selling Mazda2 will arrive in local showrooms later this year.
Just like the hatchback versions, the Mazda2 sedan will be available with a choice of 81kW/141Nm or 79kW/139Nm 1.5-litre petrol engines driving through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
And it features the full suite of SkyActiv technology.
“When we first saw the design of the Mazda2 sedan we decided it was a must-have car,” explained Mazda Australia chief Martin Benders. “Often B-segment sedans can lack style and design flow, but we believe the Mazda2 sedan is the best looking of its type in its segment. Having a stylish sedan on sale alongside a sport hatch provides even more choice for light car buyers.
