Mercedes-Benz’ all-new GLE full-size SUV range debuts in September.
Kicking-off at $86,900, the GLE range scores Benz’ new nine-speed 9G-troni automatic transmission (diesel models) and the Dynamic Select handling system with up to six driver-select programs.
Entry-level GLE 250d, a four-cylinder diesel sits on 19-inch alloy wheels and returns 6.0l/100kms fuel consumption.
Next-up the V6 diesel GLE 350d delivers 190kW/620Nm but still returns 6.6l/100kms fuel economy.
The GLE 400 enjoys the 245kW/460Nm bi-turbo V6 petrol engine, sits on 20-inch wheels and boasts standard kit including a 360-degree camera, leather interior (front seats heated), 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio and glass sunroof.
The high-performance range-topping AMG GLE 63 S gets the full enchilada highlighted by the 430kW twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 engine and the full suite of AMG techno/luxury goodies.
