New entry-level variants & price revisions to make the Everest even more desirable.
For the 2017 model year, the Ford Everest lineup has seen some major price revisions, as well as the introduction of new entry-level variants. The Ford Everest has won critical acclaim throughout the globe for its resolved driving characteristics and impressive refinement, with the new variants offering greater options and value across a wider price spectrum.
The Everest lineup now begins with the expanded Ambiente range, with no less than three new variations joining the existing 3.2-litre all-wheel drive automatic model with seven seats. The base-model now packs the same engine and transmission, but loses the third-row of seats before hitting showroom floors at $47,990 (before ORCs). If seven seats are a necessity, a small $1000 premium is commanded to move up one rung. All-wheel drive is available with a five-seat Everest Ambiente too, priced at just $52,990. Even the existing automatic seven-seater gets a price drop, with the new tag of $53,990 coming in at a grand less than it used to.
All these savings appear to have come at no cost of spec, with Ambiente models now gaining more features. Ford’s SYNC3 infotainment system with 8.0-inch colour touchscreen is now standard, along with dual-zone climate control, a 4.2-inch LCD drivers’ display, 10-speaker audio system, and running boards.
SYNC3 is also featured on the Everest Trend, which sees $2000 drops in prices for both front-wheel and all-wheel drive models (now $53,990 & 58,990 respectively). Even the top-spec Everest Titanium, with all its bells and whistles, sees a drop of $1715, with the new list price at $74,990 (down from $76,705).
The price list now stands as:
• Everest Ambiente RWD 5-seat – $47,990 (new)
• Everest Ambiente RWD 7-seat – $48,990 (new)
• Everest Ambiente 4WD 5-seat – $52,990 (new)
