2017 Mazda6 With G-Vectoring Control Debuts In The U.S

The Mazda3 was recently updated for the 2017 model year with some rather minor visual tweaks but an emphasis on an overall screw tightening of the whole car - interior feel, refinement of ride - as well as the debut of G-Vectoring Control, the first product from the SkyActiv Vehicle Dynamics suite. 

As Mazda will be rolling out the new 3 across the usual markets before the year is out, the North American market is also welcoming the arrival of an updated Mazda6

Just like the new 3, Mazda’s large saloon takes the more subtle interpretation of a mid-cycle facelift, featuring the same G-Vectoring Control (GVC) system and an overall refinement of cabin quality and NVH levels. 

We’re about a month or two away from the local launch of the updated Mazda6 and there will be a much clearer picture of what exactly changes Mazda have instituted and/or included for the Australian market.

The most intriguing would be the new vehicle dynamics features. GVC varies the car’s engine output in response to the steering angle and speed to result in a more stable and comfortable ride while inspiring driver confidence.
