After a decade’s absence, Chevrolet’s iconic Camaro muscle car is again on-sale in Europe.
Chevrolet UK has launched the Camaro (the American 2SS grade) with two versions of the 6.2-litre V8 engine. When driving through a six-speed manual transmission, the Camaro is good for 318kW/569Nm, but a slight re-tune for the automatic version sees peak torque drop to 556Nm.
Both hardtop and convertible versions of the Camaro have been developed for Europe with unique suspension calibration determined after testing at Germany’s Nurburgring race circuit. They run Chevrolet’s FE4 suspension.
Prices start at £35,025 (roughly $AUS54,558).
