Toyota has upped the ante of its entry-level Aurion AT-X with a special edition version called the Touring featuring 13 additional features – worth more than $2,00 – for no extra cost.
Stickered at $35,990, the Aurion Touring gains 17-inch alloy wheels with a stylish seven dual-spoke design, front fog lights, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, a rear wing spoiler, the radiator grille from the Sportivo sports model, sports head and tail lights and sports pedals.
Inside, the audio system gets upgraded to a six-disc CD system, there’s also dual-zone climate control air conditioning, a multi-function display trip computer and a sports steering wheel and gear lever.
Like all Aurion models, the Touring is powered by Toyota’s 200kW/336Nm V6 and is very well equipped with six airbags, vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes and a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential manual mode.
