The Fiat 500 is actually made in Poland and Mexico and production of the cute Italian designed compact has now passed the 1 million mark.
First launched in Turin in 2007, the Fiat 500 is sold in 100 global markets.
Like the MINI and Volkswagen New Beetle, the Fiat 500 is a modern day interpretation of a classic – in this case the iconic Fiat Bambino – and it was the first car under 3.55-metres in length to secure the maximum five-star safety rating from EuroNCAP.
