Holden has just about completed the all-new VF model rollout with first details of the large luxury Caprice versions.
Like the rest of the VF range, prices are down (in this case by $10,000!) and technology is up. Naturally the exterior and interior style is the outstanding new VF design.
There’s two models – Caprice with an LPG-fuelled version of the 3.6-litre V6 and the Gen IV V8 Caprice V Series.
Both are comprehensively kitted with a long list of standard features including Auto Park Assist, Reverse Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Assist, Rear-View Camera, front/rear parking sensors, electric park brake with automatic release, Hill Hold Control, Hill-Start Assist and Trailer Sway Control.
Opening the batting is the VF Holden Caprice ($54,990) which targets fleet/limousine drivers and looks great with 18-inch alloy wheels and nice leather front seats. Inside is satellite navigation with full colour mapping and live traffic updates and Holden’s MyLink infotainment system with app-embedded technology, Siri Eyes Free integration, full iPod integration and built-in apps for Pandora and Stitcher SmartRadio.
The premium Caprice V Series ($59,990) features a full leather interior with two individual bucket seats in the rear and an all-new rear-seat DVD entertainment system with dual channel wireless headphones and a nine-speaker Bose audio system. Other extras for the caprice V Series include quad exhaust outlets, 19-inch alloy wheels, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Colour Head-Up Display, electric sunroof and a leather-wrapped sports profile steering wheel.
The full range is:
