And it has “sculptural fenders” like a supercar.
Respected automotive designer Henrik Fisker, now helming a self-named automotive company, has released another teaser of his upcoming zero-emissions electric SUV, which we’re made to understand remains a little way away from production for the time being. Last we heard of any concrete developments the company was in search of a manufacturing facility in the United States – and preemptively, they hired US manufacturing veteran Don Jackson to ensure that all plans progress smoothly.
But the SUV itself remains a pretty mysterious machine. We’ve seen its nose, and D-pillar mounted indicators already, but now Fisker’s showing off its roof. On that roof, like the Fisker Karma that came before it, is a full-length solar roof, allowing the car to capture solar energy and power incendiary devices & accessories without depleting the main battery.
It’s still unclear what will be powering the Fisker SUV – the company has spoken before about its graphene solid-state dreams, but those aren’t likely to materialise in the very-near future. As such we expect to see Fisker and his urban SUV sometime later this year for a full, proper unveil, where we hope to bring you all the specifics you need to know about this new EV contender.
