It seems every day the news gets better for Ford’s new, range-topping XR8 Falcon.
Today we learned the XR8 will be priced from $52,490 (six-speed manual) and $54,690 (six-speed automatic).
We’ve already seen the photos with the slick new styling job but here’s some extra good news for the 335kW/570Nm 5.0-litre V8-pwered Falcon…
How about the suspension kit from the FPV GT RSPEC?
Yep, that’s tight, over the standard GT suspension, the XR8 adds retuned rear dampers and springs, a larger (19mm rear stabilizer bar, retuned front dampers, stiffer front upper spring mounts, stiffer front upper control arm bushing and revised geometry to suit the 275 aspect ratio rear tyres.
There’s also Brembo brakes, high-specification cooling fan and a limited-slip differential.
Announcement of the XR8’s prices completes the new Falcon range which starts at $35,900.
