Ford performance fans should make plans to be at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney next month when FPV will showcase its two latest limited edition models – the GT RSPEC sedan and Pursuit Ute.
The Sydney display will be the first major public show where both of FPV’s latest have been shown together.
Just 350 examples of the FPV GT RSPEC sedan will be made and FPV says its target was to deliver racetrack-inspired handling. So, the GT RSPEC runs 9-inch wide, 19-inch ally rear wheels, stiffer transmission mounts and significantly upgraded suspension plus – an FPV first – launch control.
Of course under the bonnet is FPV’s 355kW supercharged 5.0-litre ‘Miami’ V8.
Styling gets a boost too – not least because it is reminiscent of Ford’s iconic 1969 Boss Mustang.
The FPV GT RSPEC is priced from $76,990.
For those who need a high-performance ute, the FPV Pusuit shares some of the styling cues of the GT RSPEC sedan, some fantastic interior upgrades and 315kW of supercharged V8 power. The Pursiuit is now on sale from FPV dealers priced at $57,990.
