Haval Sharpens 2018 Pricing For H9 SUV

The H9 is, at least in Australia, one of the cheapest new 7-seater SUVs you can buy, and most assuredly the largest in the Haval range. For 2018, they are offering the H9 with some revised kit over the previous model year along with some considerable slashing in price.

Coming in two trim levels, simply referred to as the entry and high spec, prices will start at $40,990 and extend to $44,990. Conveniently, driveaway pricing will add just $1,000 to the list price: specifically it’s $41,990 and $45,990 and reduction of around $4,000 over where prices previously stood.

“We’ve worked very hard to deliver a seven-seat SUV that delivers for Australian families at the best possible price,” said HAVAL Motors Australia Chief Marketing Officer Tim Smith.

The H9, much like the Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, and Holden Trailblazer it competes with, is built upon a ladder frame chassis. All-wheel drive comes as standard, with power sourced from a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol four-cylinder that generates 160kW and 324Nm, mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic.
