Holden’s handy Barina compact scores a new range-topper in November in the form of the sporty Barina RS.
The sporty Barina looks the part with 17-inch alloy wheels, a large rear wing, unique front and rear bumpers and side skirts.
Inside are sports seats, a thick flat-bottom steering wheel and RS badges.
While Holden hasn’t announced engine details, the identical Chevrolet Sonic RS is powered by the familiar 103kW/200Nm turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
Likewise, the Chevrolet version runs sports suspension which is 10mm lower than standard.
Holden says the Barina RS is currently undergoing local testing.
At this stage Holden has not announced pricing details.
