‘CDX’, the new range-topping Holden Barina model which will join the lineup from November, is on display at the Australian International Motor Show (Sydney). And from January next year the budget-busting Holden Barina Spark improves its value position even further with the availability of an automatic transmission.
Included in the Holden Barina CDX is the debut of Holden’s MyLink infotainment system with Stitcher Smart Radio embedded and a seven-inch colour touch screen.
Other specifications include 17-inch alloy wheels, front foglights, rear parking sensors, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Sportec seat trim and heated front seats.
Holden has been a bit hamstrung on the sharply priced Barina Spark which until now has not been available with an automatic transmission (68 per-cent of light car sales are autos). However at the motor show, Holden confirmed the automatic version of the Barina Spark will go on-sale next January.
