Honda Australia have announced new pricing and specification information for the 2019 Civic, with the biggest changes coming from the fact that the company’s Sensing safety suite will be more widely available, coming as standard on the VTi-L and RS variants where they were previously reserved for the range-topping VTi-LX.

“The inclusion of Honda Sensing as standard equipment on two additional Civic sedan models, represents another step in our plan to introduce the full suite of intelligent driver-assist and active safety technologies right across the Honda vehicle range over the next few years,” Honda Australia Director, Stephen Collins said.

We are confident Honda Sensing will provide them with a system that is both intuitive and effective, and at the most affordable price point yet for a Honda vehicle,” he added.

Equipping more cars with potentially life-saving safety systems is always something to strive for, but the Honda Sensing suite also includes many convenience features as well that leverage the same technology and sensor array.
