Long-time Honda performance partner Mugen – popular with Honda enthusiasts in Australia - used England’s Goodwood Festival of Speed to unveil it’s Honda CR-Z-based RR Design Concept.
Bonnet, doors and tailgate are made form carbon-fibre and a full-length carbon fibre underbody improves aerodynamics.
There’s also twin central exhausts, a vented front bumper and competition suspension. Underneath are orange four-piston monobloc brake calipers.
The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR concept is painted Valencia Orange Pearl and sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside is plenty of Mugen-branded leather/Alcantara and a competition dashboard screen which adds data logging to satellite navigation and the audio system.
Designed and built by Mugen Euro in England, the Honda CR-Z Mugen RR is not currently slated for production but don’t be surprised if elements of it are available from Mugen in the near future.
