HSV Confirms ‘Look Pack’ For Sportscat Ute

The buffed up ute space has plenty of life in it yet, at least according to Holden Special Vehicles, who just announced an additional variant called the ‘Look Pack’ into the range of Holden Colorado-based dual cab pick-ups.

HSV’s Managing Director, Tim Jackson, said: “The rugged styling cues of the SportsCat+ model have been exceptionally well received by customers and HSV dealers alike. The introduction of the “Look Pack” now provides buyers with three distinctive SportsCat specification and pricing alternatives to suit their work and lifestyle requirements”.

True to its name, the Look Pack adds the visual enhancements of the Sportscat+ but to the exclusions of everything else, notably the de-coupling anti-roll bars, improved dampers, and beefier AP Racing brakes.

What you do receive, specifically, is the Plus’ extended wheel arches, updated front fascia with restyled bumper and grille, a set of 18-inch forged alloys fitted to Cooper Zeon LTZ Sports all-terrain tyres, hard tonneau cover, and that bulging bonnet design.

For many, that’ll be enough to sway them to the ‘Look Pack’ if they’re on the fence about a Sportscat. After all, there’s only so few occasions when the mechanical upgrades are truly felt, especially around town where curbside appeal is a much more satisfying sensation to better handling and stopping power.

The Look Pack also receives the interior upgrades of the Sportscat+, which most notably means more luxurious feeling upholstery wrapped in ‘Windsor suede’ and ‘Jasmine leather’. As with all versions of HSV’s take on the Colorado, under the bonnet we find the familiar 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel, untainted and producing 147kW and 500Nm.
