To celebrate 20 years since the launch of the iconic Maloo high peformance ute model, HSV has wheeled-out a commemorative special edition.

Called ’20 Years Of Maloo R8’, just 100 units of the V8-powered Aussie performance ute will be built and pricing starts at $67,900 for the six-speed manual. 

That’s great value considering the ‘standard’ R8 is priced from $62,550.

The ’20 Years Of Maloo R8’ boasts unique ‘Vector’ E-vents behind the front wheels, unique hood scoops, satellite navigation, rear park assist with a reversing camera, HSV’s Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA), the Enhanced Driver Interface (EDA – which provides real time performance data), HSV’s bi-modal exhaust and black-highlight 20-inch wheels from the HSV GTS.

Standard in all R8s are climate control air-conditioning, traction control, stability control (with competition mode and launch control) and daytime Running Lights
