Hyundai’s excellent i30 small car range has been boosted by the arrival of an improved 1.6-litre diesel engine and a new six-speed manual transmission. Prices remain unchanged with the entry-level SX model Hyundai i30 diesel stickered at $23,090.
The new diesel delivers extra torque (now 260Nm), more efficient (combined cycle fuel consumption down to 4.5l/100kms) and cleaner (C02 down to 119g/km).
