Infiniti is calling the Q60 a ‘concept car’ but we’d wager a considerable sum this handsome coupe will be rushed into production.
Due for unveiling next Tuesday (U.S. time) at the Detroit Auto Show the Infiniti Q60 does look the part with its flowing lines, sculptured sides, muscly rear three-quarters and purposeful front end with clear F1-style aerodynamic influences.
The low roofline may be a little too severe for the production model and the gorgeous interior with hand-crafted quilted leather seats, Alcantara and carbon-fibre finishes will definitely be de-tuned before the car arrives in Infiniti dealerships.
As for the 21-inch alloy wheels…well they may be destined for the top-spec model.
Bottom line is Infiniti does great coupes so we’re expecting the Q60 will be a cracker.
A Red Bull Racing version with the Nissan GT-R’s 404kW/628Nm twin-turbo six-cylinder and all-wheel-drive? Gee we hope so!
