Jaguar Australia is beaming with pride no doubt, as its latest entrant in the SUV space, the E-Pace compact, has been awarded the maximum safety rating by independent safety regulators ANCAP. A full five stars were given in recognition of the baby Jag’s excellent active and passive safety features, underlining the great proposition that the E-Pace is as a small family SUV.

The E-Pace scored healthily on its account of standard autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and driver-alertness monitoring. Additional kit comes in the form of adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Matrix LED headlights (with adaptive beam and smart high-beam).
