Kia has just dropped a teaser of a what seems to be a handsome car even though its only a few shadowy images of what appears to be the upcoming Optima or K5 if you live in Korea.
The teaser images show us a D-segment car with an almost Audi A5 Sportback-esque profile with its slopping roofline and rear overhang. The shot of its rear end also shows us a taillight bar design that runs (almost) the width of its rear end and what appears to be a ducktail-like boot lid.
The front-end meanwhile promises us a saloon with a ‘Z-shaped’ DRL design that’s reminiscent of the 2019 Kia Cadenza and the company’s “Tiger Nose” grille. What’s also apparent from the teaser shots is the ‘chrome’ trim that runs from the A-pillar up front all the way to the back before wrapping around the rear windscreen.
On the inside, it looks as chic and minimalist as you would expect, with a curved dashboard design housing a digital instrument display flanked by a wide-ratio screen displaying infotainment.
The Korean manufacturer hasn’t released any more information on this Kia but stay tuned to this space for more updates.
