Mazda wasn’t lacking for media attention in Frankfurt thanks to the ‘Koeru’ – it’s all-new crossover concept. Rumour has it that the Koeru concept could be the new Mazda CX-4.
In Japanese, ‘Koeru’ means “exceed” or “go beyond” and that is exactly what any production version of Mazda’s newcomer would need to do in order to gain traction in the world’s fastest-growing market segment.
Proportions are nice (Mazda says the Koeru fully embraces its ‘Kodo soul of motion’ design philosophy) and tight lines give an impression of pace.
And we’re told NVH takes a serious beating thanks to breakthrough technology which tackles the noise and vibration path.
