Anything for the ‘gram, man.
Lamborghini’s got quite the showing lined up for Monterey Car Week, with the Italian hypercar maker set to lift the veil off its mental Aventador Super Veloce Jota and show the world the very last iteration of this particular V12 beast. The high-powered, performance-focused model has yet to receive its full unveiling despite the festivities in Monterey kicking off today, and despite it already claiming the lap record at the Nurburgring for production cars, but that hasn’t stopped one Lamborghini dealer from uploading a photograph of the car on Instagram.
H.R. Owen Lamborghini, a long-time Lamborghini dealer in the UK, has had a page on its website for some time that’s dedicated to the Aventador SVJ, though it only talked about details that most major motoring portals had managed to glean from inside sources and extrapolated from carefully-worded press releases. However, the new Instagram post is a whole different thing entirely, showing off the SVJ’s front end in all its glory without even the smallest shred of camouflage.
The aerodynamic enhancements to the Aventador SVJ are about as subtle as Liberace, with huge ‘nostrils’ on either side of the raging bull up front, as well as a totally-reworked front bumper replete with fins on either side, as well as a prominent, exuberantly-shaped rear wing that we’ve seen in teaser photos & video previously.
All of this works together to tame the Super Veloce Jota which, reports suggest, packs well more than the 559kW in the Aventador SV, while its curb weight is now lower than 1,525kg. Full details, as the Instagram posts says, will not be released until the car gets its full unveiling at the event in California, so stay tuned to CarShowroom as we bring you more updates as they come.
