Lexus was the highest ranking brand in the 2011 Initial Quality Survey (IQS) conducted by respected North American agency JD Power & Associates.
With only 73 problems per 100 vehicles and four segment awards, Lexus enhanced its enviable reputation in the JD Power surveys – now ranked number one in 13 of the last 22 years.
Four Lexus models (more than any other luxury brand) scored segment awards in the 2001 JD Power IQS survey – GS, LS460, GX460 and ES350 (the last two are not sold in Australia).
“The results of the US JD Power quality survey reaffirm Lexus’ long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and durability,” enthused Lexus Australia chief executive, Tony Cramb.
